Glen Kamara can be an important player for Rangers again and can even command a hefty fee for the club in the future.
That is the stern view of Brian Laudrup who says new Light Blues boss Michael Beale will be the man to turn the Finnish star's Ibrox career around after being an afterthought in recent months. Kamara was missing in action for large parts of the first-half of the campaign under Gio Van Bronckhorst, owing to injury issues but was often left on the bench in crunch games.
The 27-year-old still has a hefty deal at Ibrox until 2025, but garnered transfer interest in the summer from the likes of Nice in Ligue 1. Now Kamara must revive his Rangers career according to Laudrup, and he believes Beale is exactly the manager to make that happen.

He told the Daily Mail: "Look at what Beale said about Glen Kamara. 'He will be a big player going forward'. It's a simple statement. But, to me, one clearly designed to make Kamara feel he is important again. Because that had been lost in recent times.
"The midfielder comes across as a quiet, mild-mannered person. Not one with a huge ego. Everyone needs reassurance, though, and Kamara plainly wasn't a key man towards the end of Van Bronckhorst's reign.
"Now, however, Beale is trying to build him up. He is showing he has faith but will expect that to be rewarded with performances on the park. And quickly. Perhaps better than anyone, Beale knows what Kamara can offer. He is only 27 and has a contract until 2025.
"A player of his talent can't just drift away from being an effective part of Rangers. Instead, he should be someone capable of delivering a big fee in the future. It looks like he's going to be one of those trusted to put Beale's vision into practice."
