Former Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara is in 'advanced talks' to join Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab.
The 29-year-old is out of favour at Rennes, having played just 13 times for the club so far this season.
Kamara made the move to northern France just last summer but hasn't settled in well and is now set to swap Brittany for the Middle East.

Renowned transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports on X that the Finland international is close to joining Al Shabab, with negotiations between the Saudi club and Rennes said to be at an advanced stage.
The central midfielder spent four and a half years at Ibrox after famously joining Rangers from Dundee for just £50,000 in 2019.
He was then sold to Leeds United in 2023 after helping the club win the 2020/21 Scottish Premiership title and reach the 2022 Europa League final in Seville.
Now, a hefty pay packet likely awaits Kamara in Saudi Arabia, although he is moving to the country just as his old boss at Rangers, Steven Gerrard, departs.
The Englishman has reportedly resigned as manager of Al-Ettifaq amid an inconsistent run of results and performances.
Having been in charge of the club for a year and a half, Gerrard looks set to depart his second post-Rangers job.
