Scissors has been revealed to be Glee star Heather Morris on The Masked Dancer.
The grand final aired Saturday evening, which saw Joel Dommett and the panel – Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Oti Mabuse and Peter Crouch – all help to unmask the remaining three celebrities.
Scissors was the last to be unmasked during tonight's spectacular finale, beating former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli, who was the Pearly King, and film and musical star Adam Garcia, who played Onomatopoeia.
As the final aired on Saturday, fans of the ITV guessing game show were stunned to find out the true celebrity identity behind the Scissors mask. Both the judges and viewers were shocked as Heather took off her intricate mask and revealed her identity.
Heather, who played cheer leader Brittany Pierce in tv show Glee, told host Joel Dommett after the big reveal: "I was a dancer for Beyonce, I danced with her, I was one of two back-up dancers in [Single Ladies].
"I have had the best time. Seriously, this has made my heart so full."
She added: "My kids at home, I have two boys, we are huge Masked fans. My oldest, during the pandemic, would make masks himself... when I got the call for this, hands down, of course I'm going to do this, my kids will be in awe of me."
Scissors has provided audiences with some great routines over the last few weeks, including a hip hop inspired dance to Wannabe by The Spice Girls and a Tango to We Don’t Talk About Bruno from Encanto. They also danced a samba to Justin Bieber's Sorry.
Throughout the weeks, a number of different names have been thrown into the ring including Glee star Heather Morris, Britain's Got Talent's judge Amanda Holden as well as former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke.
The clues have pointed towards an X Factor star, with the clue: "What I'm trying to say is that sometimes it helps to have a little bit of The X Factor in your life. It certainly did mine. Tonight on that dance floor, it's paper, scissors, rock."
Whilst clues hinted at chart success, but singing wasn't the "first and foremost" element of their career. "I've still ended up in the charts. And I'm not talking once or twice but a record breaking number of times. I even ousted a musical legend from his post," they added.
They also hinted they were somehow connected to an Emmy – whether winning one or being nominated one as for the Joel-ker Card Clue, they said: "Pick a card, Emmy card," with it being revealed they received the nod for a dance related show.
Other clues included that there were in a high-profile relationship whilst there is also a clue related to the numbers 4, 5, 8, 0 and 5.
Speaking about the complements the judges gave her throughout the series, Heather said: "They gave me so much confidence, almost as much as my husband flatters me.
"I felt so good about myself, because you stare at yourself in the mirror and you’re like, ‘I’m a mum now, I could lose 5 pounds, I need to work out every day’.
"Granted I’m dancing and I teach here in the US but there are always things that you want to change about yourself. It felt so good to hear. I wanted to lift off my Scissors head and say, ‘thank you so much’ and then put the head back on!"
Speaking about the secrecy involved in the series, the TV star said: "The whole secrecy of the show in the first week was so difficult.
"It's very hard not to say hi to the other contestants, we’re in hoods and completely covered up.
"With my kids it was super difficult because they are such big fans so I really wanted to tell them but now I’m so excited to show them because they are going to think that I am the coolest mum in the world.
"I cannot wait to see the costume heads that they’ll make. With all that said, I love secrets. I am the biggest secret keeper and if anybody tells me a secret it's locked and loaded forever.
"So for me it was great because I love to keep secrets so I didn’t have any problems with anybody else except for my children who are aged 9-years-old) and 6-years-old."
