Glaswegians needed to take part in Netflix Squid Game competition show

Everyone knows - and loves - the Netflix hit series, Squid Game.

And whilst we wait for it to return to our screens for a second season, people are now being urged to take part in a reality competition inspired by the hit show.

Just without all the deadly consequences of course!

If you are keen to take part and win millions to be transferred straight to your bank account, award-winning TV production company Studio Lambert are looking for people to take part - and Glaswegians are welcome.

Casting producers are now calling for people to take part in the filming, which will take place in the UK, and see the largest cast and lump sum cash prize in reality TV history.

Just like the show, 456 real players will enter the game in pursuit of a life-changing reward of $4.56 million. Taking to their casting website they wrote: "You’ve seen the drama, now it’s your chance to take part in Netflix’s biggest ever social experiment!

"This supersized unscripted show turns the scripted world of the drama into reality. Real-life players will be immersed in the iconic Squid Game universe and will never know what’s coming next. Here they’ll compete in a series of heart-stopping games in order to become the sole survivor and walk away with a life-changing cash prize.

"With a fortune up for grabs, who will be an ally, who will you trust, and who will you betray in this ultimate test of character?"

If you are keen to take on the challenge and compete against 455 other players, casting are looking for smart, dynamic and tenacious individuals from the UK who are at least 21-years-old.

Filming is expecting to begin early next year and those keen can apply here.
