Glaswegians needed for Love Is Blind as hit Netflix show arrives in the UK

Singletons across Glasgow could help ask whether love is really blind as a hit Netflix show arrives in the UK.

Love Is Blind is looking for applicants to appear in the British version of the reality show. Contestants will take part in a social experiment to find out if it is possible to fall in love without before actually seeing what they look like.

In a bid to find the one, contestants will date each other by stepping into the show's bespoke pods, with a wall in between to stop the singletons taking a cheeky look at their potential love interests.

Without distractions from the outside world, contestants will find out if love is truly blind and if meaningful connections can be build by getting to know someone for who they are - instead of what they look like.

And if couples reckon they have found the real deal, they will meet face to face for the first time when the guy takes to one knee to propose.

The newly engaged couple then take on some tests in the real world, getting to know the other loved up pairs before planning their wedding. But will they make it to the altar, seal their vows and live happily ever after?

If you reckon you could help prove that love is really blind then you are in luck as applications for the UK series are open. You can fill out the short application form online.

You must be 18 or over to apply and applications close on June 1.

Filming is set to begin later in the year, with the show scheduled to hit screens in 2024.
