Glastonbury viewers distracted by same detail as Aitch takes to Pyramid Stage

Glastonbury viewers appeared distracted by the same detail as Manchester rapper Aitch took to the Pyramid Stage for his set on Saturday afternoon (June 24).

The star, from Moston, rattled through his hit tracks, including Taste (Make It Shake) and Rain. Attracting large crowds, including fellow rapper Stormzy, he also brought out pop star Anne-Marie for a surprise cameo.

Nearing the end of the set, he asked the crowd what their relationship was like with their ex-partners, before asking everyone in the field to put their middle fingers up in the air. He added “My ex is a psycho”, as the chords to his collaboration with Anne-Marie, titled Psycho, were struck up and the singer entered the stage.

But viewers at home became distracted when 23-year-old popped on the new Manchester United home shirt mid-set - before the club has even revealed it themselves. As he changed into the red football shirt he told some fans in the crowd wearing Manchester City tops that they were “not going to like me after this”.

He added: “So you know where I’m from now right any way so I’m going to take you to Manchester right now.”

Aitch debuted the new Manchester United home shirt at Glastonbury (BBC)

While some were happy to see Aitch represent his home town, many were confused by the early debut of the new design. Others were distracted by the top itself - particularly the 'Team Viewer' sponsor logo on the front of the shirt.

@Ganesh_Gupta74 asked: "I thought this kit was supposed to release on 27th June ???" while @whenitjakes said of Aitch showing off the new kit: "Good way of debuting it in fairness".

@ammandev added: "The sponsor is WAY TOO BIG" while @UTD_Denver07 joked: "That TeamViewer logo should have been a bit bigger at least big enough to cover players face". @MufcKillo said: "Aitch, fair play brother but that Team Viewer logo is f******* disgusting...it covers half the f****** shirt ffs!"

@gordomaricas added: "Idk but i don't like that design, the sponsor font is ridiculous" and @man_united_44 reckoned: "Apart from sponsor being a bit big, I personally like the kit."
