Glastonbury slammed for 'worst line-up in years' as 2025 headliners announced

GLASTONBURY has been slammed for its 'worst line-up in years' by fans of the festival.

It comes as the festival announced the headliners and line-up for the 2025 event today (March 6).

Artists Olivia Rodrigo and The 1975 will headline alongside the previously announced rock legend Neil Yong and the Chrome Hearts.

They will be joined by Charli XCX - who will top the bill on the festival's second stage on Saturday, June 28.

There will also be debut Glastonbury performances by Alanis Morisette, Noah Kahan, Gracie Abrams, Lola Young and US rap phenomenon Doechii, who will headline the West Holts stage.

Following the announcement, some Glastonbury fans have described the line-up as the 'worst ever'.

Glastonbury line-up branded as 'worst in years'

Taking to X, formally Twitter, one Glastonbury fan reacted: "Worst lineup ever" as another shared: "Gotta be one of the weakest lineups in many a year."

A third added: "Worst lineup in years This has made me really feel at ease at not getting tickets."

One last person not happy with the Glastonbury line-up said: "Absolutely over the moon that I didn’t get tickets for this.

"I would have been devastated with that lineup."

However, others disagreed with some praising the line-up and calling it 'amazing': "The responses have me shocked, this is an amazing lineup???"

Another excited fan said: "This lineup is stacked - BUZZING!"

As one more simply said: "Now that’s a good lineup."

More acts will be announced before the festival opens its gates on June 25.

Tickets, which cost £373.50 plus a £5 booking fee, have already sold out. A limited resale will take place in April.

After this summer, the event will take a "fallow year" before returning in 2027.
