The much anticipated Glastonbury Festival 2022 is around the corner, with the gates to the famous music event opening in just two days' time and many ticket holders will be wondering what the weather forecast will be.
Forecasters have predicted a mixed bag of weather across the weekend, with high temperatures of 24 degrees alongside a few days of rain. The first day of the festival, this Wednesday, June 22, is set to be the hottest with cooler temperatures expected for the rest of its run.
Glastonbury Festival, every music lover's dream, will feature legendary artists performing across several days in the Somerset countryside. Stars set to entertain include Liverpool's own Paul McCartney, Led Zeppelin alum Robert Plant with country star Alison Krauss, 20-year old chart topper Billie Eilish and more.

Glastonbury returns for the first time in three years, after being cancelled during the height of the coronavirus pandemic. The Somerset festival is now celebrating its 50th year after the delays.
Lucky ticket-holders descending on Pilton for the hotly anticipated event can expect mostly dry and sunny weather for the duration. Towards the weekend, it's expected to get a little cooler.
According to the Met Office, it's set to be dry with plenty of warm sunshine on Wednesday and Thursday, with highs of 24 degrees on Wednesday and lows of 13 degrees. There'll be a minor drop in heat on Thursday, with highs expected to reach 23 degrees and lows of 15 degrees, though it's expected to remain sunny for the entire day.
Friday is likely to be cooler, with the possibility of some showery rain. On Saturday, June 25, temperatures will reach highs of 17 degrees and lows of 12 degrees, with some light showers expected.
On Sunday, June 26, light showers are expected during the day, changing to partly cloudy by night time. There’ll be temperatures ranging from 17 to 13 degrees throughout the day.
