Glastonbury 2025 line-up revealed: The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo set to headline

Olivia Rodrigo and The 1975 are set to headline Glastonbury Festival this summer, organisers have confirmed.

Joining them is Charli XCX, who will take the top spot on the festival’s second stage on Saturday, June 28.

The line-up also features debut performances from Alanis Morissette, Busta Rhymes, Noah Kahan, Brandi Carlile, Gracie Abrams, Lola Young, and rising US rap star Doechii, who will headline the West Holts stage.

Festival favourites Wolf Alice, Wet Leg, Fatboy Slim, Loyle Carner, CMAT and Scissor Sisters are also making a return while Rod Stewart will take on the iconic Sunday afternoon “legend slot”.

Music icon Neil Young has been announced as Saturday’s main headliner —an announcement that was accidentally revealed earlier this year.

On New Year’s Day, Young unexpectedly declared he was pulling out of Glastonbury, citing concerns over the festival’s ties to broadcast partner BBC and its “corporate control”.

However, just two days later, he backtracked, admitting he had received “an error in information” and confirming that Glastonbury was “back on our itinerary”. This marks his return to the festival after headlining in 2009.

Meanwhile, The 1975 are no strangers to the festival circuit, having headlined Reading and Leeds three times since 2016. However, this marks their first time leading Glastonbury’s legendary line-up.

Olivia Rodrigo makes history as the first headliner to emerge in the 2020s and the second-youngest ever, following Billie Eilish, who topped the bill at 20 in 2022.

At just 22, Rodrigo takes the Pyramid Stage armed with only two albums but a powerhouse setlist of songs such as Good 4 U, Driver’s License and get him back!

Despite fan speculation, Rihanna won’t be making a surprise appearance on the Pyramid Stage — marking another year of hopeful rumours left unfulfilled.

Meanwhile, Charli XCX is set to solidify her status as one of the UK’s biggest pop stars with a headline set on the Other Stage fresh off winning five Brit Awards for her album Brat.

Glastonbury 2025's line-up also features Ezra Collective, Jorja Smith, The Libertines, The Maccabees, Franz Ferdinand, Kae Tempest, Beabadoobee, Kneecap, and The Prodigy, who will headline the Other Stage on Sunday.

Raye is set to take the stage just before Young on Saturday night, marking a major milestone after her breakout lunchtime performance on the Pyramid Stage two years ago.

More artists will be revealed before the festival kicks off on 25 June.

Tickets, priced at £373.50 plus a £5 booking fee, have already sold out, with a limited resale scheduled for April.

Following this year’s event, Glastonbury will take a planned “fallow year” in 2026, returning in 2027.
