When it comes to taking time off work, it can be hard to decide when to book and how long your holidays should last.
A recent survey of Scotland’s tourism sector by the Scottish Tourism Alliance revealed that 38 per cent of Scots hope to take more holidays this year than they did the year before.
And following these findings, Frank Recruitment Group have listed some handy hacks on how Glaswegians can more than double their annual leave this year.

How to get 64 days off using just 24 days of annual leave
You could bag yourself 64 days off, just by using 24 days of your annual leave.
This April is the first chance that you can use up four of your annual leave days to secure nine days off. You can do this by booking off the Monday to Thursday before Good Friday (April 7).
The next month, people should book off four days and this time bag them an extra days off compared to last month for a total of 10 days off in May alone.
Alternatively, if the dates suited better, workers could book off the remainder of the week after the coronation and have nine days instead. If possible, workers could even book all the time off and have 16 days work-free to do whatever they want.
For those looking to plan a holiday closer to June, the Spring Bank Holiday (May 29) is the perfect opportunity for a nine days off.
It doesn't stop there as by using three days of holiday to book off the remainder of the week after Christmas Day (December 25) and Boxing Day (December 26), workers can almost quadruple their time off because of New Year’s Day and January 2.
You can check out the full list of dates to book off below.
