A woman has been rushed to hospital after being discovered unwell on a Glasgow street, sparking a police probe.
Officers were alerted to the scene to Dumbarton Road in the Yoker area around 7am this morning after the alarm was raised.
The woman was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where medical staff describe her condition as serious but stable.

Enquiries are ongoing, although police say there appears to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 7am on Tuesday, July 19, police and emergency services were called after a woman was found unwell on Dumbarton Road, Yoker, Glasgow.
“She has been taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where medical staff describe her condition as serious but stable.
“There would appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, however, enquiries are continuing.
“Dumbarton Road is closed in one direction, however, officers are carrying out point duties at the scene with a contraflow in place.”
