A man has been left seriously injured after a violent altercation unfolded in the west end of the city.
Emergency services rushed to Great George Street just off Byres Road around 12.35am on Tuesday morning following the incident.
A 63-year-old man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital from the scene where he remains in a serious condition.

Forensic officers were seen carrying out an investigation on the street with eyewitnesses reporting a 'trail of blood' on Byres Road with Great George Street and Great George Lane both cordoned off.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.35am on Tuesday, 16 May 2023, police received a report a man had been assaulted during an altercation on Great George Street, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and a 63-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow where medical staff describe his condition as serious.
"Enquiries are ongoing. Great George Lane and Great George Street are closed as officers conduct enquiries."
