The following days are set to go back to its usual dreich self, which is not shocking living in Scotland. On Thursday (October 20) is when heavy rain is expected from as early as 4am until 10pm, according to the experts at BBC Weather.
Friday is set to be much the same with a downpour on its way with the weekend set to be cloudy with spells of rain throughout the day.
In their latest update, the Met Office has said that "temperatures will fluctuate over the coming days as the wind direction swings from west to east and back again, but by the end of the week it’ll feel rather warm in any sunshine."
In the latest week ahead forecast, Alex Deakin said: “Looking at the bigger picture, high pressure is to the north, low pressure to the southwest. And this week is going to be a bit of a scrap between these two weather systems. Eventually, the low will win out”.
The interaction between the high and low pressure will result in some windy days too, Alex continued: “As the low squeezes up against the high, the isobars push together, suggesting at times it's going to be quite blustery”.
But what does the weather look like ahead? Here's what the Met Office have predicted.
