Franco Smith has not ruled out the possibility of leaving Glasgow Warriors for the vacant head coach position with the Wales national rugby team, should the opportunity arise.
Smith, who previously managed Italy before taking up his current role in Glasgow in August 2022, is contracted until 2026.
However, he is one of the names in the frame to replace Warren Gatland at Wales. Gatland was relieved from his duties earlier this week after back-to-back Six Nations losses took their losing run to 14 consecutive test matches.
Speaking to Premier Sports ahead of Warriors' United Rugby Championship away clash against Dragons, Smith said: "I would like to coach at international level again. I think most coaches dream of it. But for now I'm just focused on what's got to be done today and we will look.
"Obviously I'm still on a contract with Glasgow Warriors and you never know..."
