The team behind a popular Glasgow vegan takeaway has been left delighted after being named one of the best plant-based takeaways in the UK by an influential website.
Plant Blonde, which recently opened its very first shop on Hyndland Street in Partick and specialises in plant-based biscuits, bakes and dishes, was picked out by Stag Web in its 30 Best Vegan Takeaways in the UK for 2023.
Posting on their official Instagram, the proud Plant Blonde team posted: "GUYS! We’ve been voted one of the UK’s top 30 vegan takeaways! Wow wee! Thank you so much. What a fantastic start to the week!"

The popular business joined other top plant-based eateries from all over the UK, with Edinburgh's Sora Lella the only other Scottish restaurant on the list.
Writing about Plant Blonde, the Stag Web team gushed: "Plant Blonde is a newbie to the streets of Glasgow and what a great addition it is.
"Adding a big pop of colour and a whole range of sweet treats to the plant-based scene, we’re big fans of what they’re doing. We’re looking forward to what 2023 will unfold for them (hopefully a café near our StagWeb office???)."
Delighted fans congratulated the team on their success, one posted: "Amazing well-done guys! You are absolutely smashing it."
Another added: "Not shocked one bit! The BEST cafe in Glasgow."
