Glasgow TV host Storm Huntley shares adorable video of family's Scottish tradition

Glaswegian television presenter Storm Huntley has shared an adorable video of her family soothing new born son Otis to sleep with a traditional Scottish rhyme.

The Channel 5 TV host announced the birth of son, Otis Abi Okan, last week after going on maternity leave just a couple of days prior. She wrote on social media that Otis will be "the little person who will forever hold my heart in his hands…"

The 35-year-old, who is married to LaFontaines frontman Kerr Okan, has been updating fans on the arrival of their son on her various social media accounts. She didn't miss out on capturing some traditional Scottish vibes with her family, as they came to visit the new family-of-three in London.

Writing on Instagram, Storm captioned the video: "The family bringing Scotland down to London", alongside love heart and laughing face emojis. Storm's family were cooing over baby Otis, and singing Scottish rhyme 'Ye canny shove yer granny off a bus'.

As Storm entered the room with her camera poised, all three family members laughed in unison and continued their singing to Otis, who seemed to be lapping up the attention.

The lyrics, "Oh ye canny shove yer granny, cause she's ur mammy's mammy, oh ye canny shove yer granny off a bus" rang out in the video as Storm held back her laughter.

Earlier this month, Glasgow Live reported that Channel 5 co-host Jeremy Vine was on hand to celebrate Otis' birth as he sent lots of gifts to the family.

The 35-year-old Glaswegian television presenter shared another cute snap of her son on social media, surrounded by lots of educational books.

All of these books were gifted by Jeremy Vine and his family, as Storm captioned the photo on Instagram: "If your IQ is truly dependent on how many books were in your house growing up then The Vines have given Otis the best start."

We wish Storm, Kerr and Otis the happiest of lives together as a new family of three. Storm will return to The Jeremy Vine Show on Channel 5 after her maternity leave ends.
