Tickets for Heavy Metal legends Judas Priest's visit to Glasgow go on sale today (Friday, May 5) as they prepare to hit the OVO Hydro next spring.

The group has announced a first tour in decades kicking off in Glasgow before heading to Leeds, Bournemouth, London, Dublin and home city Birmingham as part of the tour in 2024.

The band were originally set to tour the UK alongside Ozzy Osbourne which has since been cancelled due to the Black Sabbath singer's ailing health.

The six-arena show will form part of the worldwide Metal Masters Tour and will include special guests Saxon and Uriah Heep at the shows.

Announcing the tour this week, Judas Priest said: 'We are thrilled to start this world tour in the renowned traditional homes of heavy metal and can't wait to see our amazing family of Priest maniacs!'

Ticketmaster has also confirmed there will be a limit of six tickets per person during the general sale for the shows. The tickets will go on sale at 10 am on Friday 5 May from the website.
