Glaswegians with a sweet tooth will be excited to welcome a new Portuguese bakery and Scotland's first specialist pastelaria to the city.
Work is already underway to convert Byres Road's former Dai Pai Asian eatery into the stunning new Iberian deli Pasteis Lisboa.
Set to serve up 'The UK's finest authentic Pastel De Nata', customers will be able to watch the talented sweet makers produce the famous Pastel De Nata tarts from scratch in the open bakery.

The owners are currently recruiting for staff, with a planned opening date set for next month, on August 11.
Announcing their arrival on their website, the team say: "Scotland's first specialist Pastelaria, Pastéis Lisboa, is bringing the finest Pastel de Nata you'll ever taste - from an award-winning Portuguese recipe - to Byres Road in the heart of Glasgow's bustling west end this summer.
"Come watch our talented pastry chefs hard at work, freshly making from scratch our addictive custard tarts all day, every day in our unique open bakery."
Meanwhile, it's good news for Glasgow's vegans too, with Pasteis Lisboa confirming they'll be baking up their own unique vegan version of the popular Portuguese Pastel De Nata tarts.
Alongside the sweet treats, Glaswegians will also get to enjoy the likes of coffees and craft sodas in the heart of the west end.
