Glasgow is currently under a yellow weather warning with the Met Office telling locals to prepare for disruption.
The warning for heavy rain came into force from midnight (March 16) and is set to last for several hours.
It's set to last until 3pm today with forecasters stating that persistent rain, which will be particularly heavy over southwest facing hills, is likely to cause some "difficult travel conditions " with alerts being seen across the city's roads.

The rain is currently falling in Glasgow with more set to batter the city as the day goes on.
Telling Glasgow locals to expect "spray and flooding on roads" which will add to your journey time making it longer, the Met Office explain that their reason for the city being under the yellow zone is due to the persistent rainfall.
They explain: "Rain is expected to set in during Wednesday evening, turning particularly heavy and persistent overnight especially over southwest facing hills. 40-70 mm is likely quite widely, with the wettest spots possibly seeing in excess of 100 mm of rain.
"The rain will be coupled with generally windy conditions which is likely to further reduce visibility from spray. Conditions will slowly improve through Thursday afternoon."
After this alert has ended, at the time of writing, there are no other weather alerts in place. You can keep up-to-date with any changes through our weather page .
