A woman has been rushed to hospital following a flat fire in Yoker.
Emergency services were called to Speirshall Close around 9.05am on Tuesday morning after the blaze broke out.
Four fire engines were sent to the scene and were able to extinguish the fire and a woman was taken to hospital for treatment. Her condition is currently unknown.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 9.06am on Tuesday, 7 March to reports of a dwelling fire in the Yoker area of Glasgow.
"Operations Control mobilised four appliances to Speirshall Close, where firefighters were met by a fire within a tenement building.

"Firefighters extinguished the fire and worked to make the area safe before leaving the scene."
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 9.35am on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, police received a report of a fire at a flat in Speirshall Close, Yoker.
"Emergency services are in attendance and one woman has been taken to hospital.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
