A group of climate activists who have been going around Edinburgh deflating vehicle tyres are calling for copycat attacks to take place in Glasgow.
The Tyre Extinguishers have been targeting large SUV vehicles in the capital as part of their aim of to defend themselves 'against climate change, air pollution and unsafe drivers'.
They are doing so in the belief that such vehicles are 'massive' and 'unnecessary' and that 'everyone hates them, apart from the people who drive them'.

The activists deflated the tyres of scores of SUVs in the Bruntsfield area of the city in the early hours of this morning, in what is the fifth strike on the city since March, our sister title Edinburgh Live reports.
Now it seems they are encouraging activists to carry out similar incidents on vehicles on the streets of Glasgow.
They tweeted: "LAST NIGHT: EDINBURGH TYRE EXTINGUISHERS STRIKE FOR AT LEAST FIFTH TIME. SUVs disarmed in the posh Bruntsfield area last night. Brighton, London, Bristol - looks like Edinburgh is coming for your record! Where's Glasgow at??"
Back in November, climate activists deflated tyres on around 60 'gas-guzzling luxury cars' in Glasgow's west end on what was the last day of the COP26 conference.
The group, who called themselves Tyred of SUVs, also placed satirical police fines on the cars' windscreens explaining their actions.
