A stroke victim claims he was left bleeding on the street after being attacked on his way home from doing his shopping at Lidl.
Alan Roy says he's now too frightened to leave his Milton home after being left with serious facial injuries when he was knocked out during the incident.
The 51-year-old former railway worker was rushed to hospital last Tuesday where doctors carried out a CT scan, the Daily Record reports. He said: "One side of my face was on the road, one wasn't, so one side got it. They rushed me to hospital and did a CT scan.

"I think that I've got four fractures on my face."
Alan, who was forced to retire after suffering a life-changing stroke, says the incident has left him too frightened to go outside.
He added: "My stroke was caused by a blood clot. My stroke leg is now about half the strength again, I have a severe limp and fall all over the place. My face is sticking away out a mile.
"I could actually see it in a shadow if I turned around and looked at the ground. I don't want to go out any more.
"There was a big pool of blood outside the house and my milk was all spilt."
A man was later arrested in connection with the attack and appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court the following day, where he made no plea and was released on bail.
