A Glasgow street has been locked down after a report of a possible "ordnance item" found in the area.
Some homes have been evacuated and people have been told to stay away from the area as descend on the Pollok area.
In a statement issued a short time ago Police Scotland confirmed the area between 386 Househillmuir Road, and Dunside Drive is closed.

It said: "Househillmuir Road, between number 386 and the junction with Dunside Drive, in the Pollok area of Glasgow is currently closed following a report of a possible ordnance item being found.
"People are asked to avoid the area. Several properties have been evacuated as a precaution."
