A man was taken to hospital following a disturbance in Glasgow city centre last night (Sunday, April 3).
Police and emergency services were alerted to reports of a man found injured on Stockwell Street around 7pm.
The 47-year-old was then taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. He was released later that night.
The road was subsequently closed off to traffic for around 11 hours while police carried out their enquiries.
A. Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 7pm on Sunday, 3 April 2022, police attended a report of a 47-year-old man injured in Stockwell Street, Glasgow.

“He was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he was treated and released later in the evening.
“Police enquiries are ongoing.”
