Glasgow-based marketing automation software firm Candidate.ID has been acquired by New Jersey could-based recruitment company iCIMS.
The deal should allow iCIMS customers to qualify talent better with lead scoring, improve efficiency by reengaging existing databases of candidates and deliver more at scale with personalised recruitment marketing campaigns.
Candidate.ID automates repetitive candidate engagement tasks and allows recruitment professionals to manage multi-step candidate engagement workflows with customisable multi-channel campaigns.
“When we started Candidate.ID five years ago, we were on a mission to solve real recruitment challenges with marketing automation software,” said chief executive Adam Gordon. “With iCIMS, our shared vision will enable us to accelerate the adoption of marketing automation technology, for the benefit of recruiters, candidates and hiring managers around the world.”
Candidate.ID was founded in 2016 by Adam Gordon and Scot McRae. Its early investors included Blackfinch Ventures and Crowdcube.
Madeline Laurano, founder at Aptitude Research, added: “Candidate.ID is one of the most exciting companies in talent acquisition – they’re leading the way in marketing automation and CRM.
“To add this functionality to the iCIMS Talent Cloud is really powerful, and iCIMS is now equipped to lead the market through the next generation of recruitment marketing.”
