A probe is underway following the death of a large number of fish in Hogganfield Loch in Glasgow.
Concerned locals spotted the 'massive fish kill' in the north east area of the loch on Thursday of this week.
The dead fish are believed to have come from a culvert that comes in to the loch from Frankfield Loch nearby.
It is understood that the fish that have died are roach and that they number around 200 in total.
Environmental protection agency SEPA is currently investigating the incident.
Meanwhile Glasgow City Council said they too are concerned about the circumstances which have led to the death of a large number of fish and will do what they can to support SEPA.

A spokesman for the council told Glasgow Live: “We are concerned about the circumstances that have led to a large number of fish being found dead in Hogganfield Loch.
“The environmental protection agency SEPA is investigating this incident and we will do what we can to support them.”
