Emergency services raced to the M8 motorway in Glasgow this morning after a coach caught fire.
Police and fire crews were called to the M8 Eastbound between Junction 23 (Ibrox / Dumbreck Road) and Junction 20 (M74 interchange) after 2am this morning.
The motorway was closed for around 25 minutes whilst the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

Thankfully there were no passengers on board the bus at the time.
A SFRS spokeswoman said: "We were called to reports of a coach on fire on the M8 Eastbound at 2:19am this morning., SFRS mobilised two appliances to the scene. It was left in the hands of the police with the last crews leaving the scene at 3:34am."
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 2.20am on Saturday, 30 July, officers were called to a report of a bus on fire on the M8, near to junction 22. Emergency services attended and the road was closed for around 25 minutes whilst the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.”
