Glasgow search for elderly lady with dementia missing in south side

An elderly lady suffering from dementia has been reported missing in Glasgow.

Ann Ferguson was last seen in the Edgemont Street area of the south side at 5.30am this morning and concerns are growing for her safety.

Police say the 69-year-old is just 5ft tall, slim with greying brown hair and was wearing jeans and a fawn top.

Sergeant Graeme Waite, of Cathcart Police Station, has appealed to the public to help them find Ann, and urged anyone who may have seen her, or knows where she may be to get in touch.

He said: “Ann suffers from dementia and we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“Anyone who may have seen Ann or who has any information on her whereabouts is urged to contact police via 101, quoting incident 1121 of December 18.”
