Glasgow's Lorraine Kelly has lashed out at scammers who continue to use her face to falsely promote their weight loss products.
Talking on Good Morning Britain (GMB) today (April 19), the television presenter said she was appalled after finding out adverts were circulating on Facebook of diet products, something she does not approve of.
Faces of celebrities have been used without permission to promote similar products before with Martin Lewis, founder of Money Saving Expert, having spoken out about this issue before stating he does not do adverts.

The conversation came as the financial guru warned viewers to be vigilant of fraudsters after a Scots woman was conned out of £150,000 by an online ad for crypto currency using his image, reports the Daily Record.
During Lorraine's programme preview on Wednesday, she joined Susanna Reid and Martin via video link when Susanna asked the Glasgow-born star if she'd ever experienced anything similar.
Lorraine then replied: "Do you know, I was watching you earlier when you were talking about that - absolutely!
"Only yesterday, and I'm not on Facebook, but somebody said on Facebook that there was some ridiculous losing weight nonsense that they put my face on and it's infuriating isn't it? It's infuriating!"
Pleading with people at home to be careful and stay safe she added: "Please, please, please do not fall for the scammers!
Susanna Reid then clarified: "You do not endorse weight loss products?" to which Lorraine replied: "No, absolutely not."
Susanna shared a story of her own revealing that she was contacted by someone who asked her about her 'keto pills' which she does not - and will never endorse.
She said: "Mine is 'keto pills', I get people contacting me saying 'I'm desperate to lose weight do these keto pills work?'
"I do not endorse, sell, make, manufacture or back any pills for losing weight!"
At the start of the year, Lorraine opened up about her choice to continue a healthier lifestyle as she urged people to 'cut themselves some slack'.
The 63-year-old signed up for WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers, and has continued her role as an ambassador for the company since then.
After focusing on small lifestyle and diet changes, Lorraine lost almost two stone and dropped two dress sizes in 2022. Discussing her healthier lifestyle, Lorraine slammed fad diets and encouraged fans to focus on sustainable lifestyle changes which suit them, their body and their needs.
She told The Independent: “I think it’s crazy in January all of a sudden to say, ‘I’m going for a 10-mile run’, or going on a stupid, faddy diet, because they don’t work, we know diets don’t work – you will lose weight, but you’ll just put it all back on again because it’s not sustainable."
“It’s great to have goals,” she continued: “but make it realistic. Because so many people towards the end of [January] are just like, ‘Oh forget it’, and that’s sad.”
She added: "For me, one of the big things has been the community. Social media gets a really bad name, but on the app and using the fact there’s so many of us embarking on this together, sharing experiences and tips and lifting each other up is really, really good.
“I think that’s what it’s all about these days – supporting each other. We all just want to be as healthy and happy as we can be.”
