Southsiders are licking their lips at the prospect of sampling a new tapas bar set to open next month.
From the team behind popular Mediterranea Cafe and Deli, which sadly closed down at the end of May, comes the G41 Bar. Teasing foodies as to what they can expect on social media, owners describe the exciting new venue as a hub for cocktails, wine, beer, Mediterranean tapas, tunes and live music.
G41 will be coming to Shawlands 'soon', with a launch party planned for August 13. Glasgow Live previously reported the owners of La Mediterranea said they would be closing for good on May 30 - but they promised something else exciting was in the works.

They released a statement on the closure back in the spring.
It read: "It is with heavy hearts we have to announce La Mediterranea will be closing as of Monday, May 30. We have an exciting new venture coming in the next few months and will be putting all our energy into this.
"We want to thank all our customers for their support over the last year, as it has been much appreciated."
