The iconic Horseshoe Bar has reopened following an extensive three-week refurbishment, giving the historic Glasgow city centre pub a welcome refresh.
A perennially popular spot for passing Glaswegians, the Horseshoe is also famed for its lively karaoke scene as well as being a much-loved hub for those who want to take in live sport.
The Horseshoe has also announced a brand new food menu, with the likes of pizzas and steaks being served up among a number of pub classics.

Announcing the reopening, pub owners Mitchells & Butlers say: "Renowned as a hub for live sport and the go-to karaoke spot, the new look Horseshoe Bar offers a tasty food menu for visitors to enjoy in the easy-going pub.
"Guests can tuck into all the pub favourites, from mouth-watering burgers and chargrilled prime steaks to mix & match tapas including drunken mushrooms, fried chicken bites and cheese ‘n’ bacon fries. Plus, brand new to the menu at the Horseshoe Bar is freshly stone baked pizzas!

"Joining the new food menu, guests will also be greeted with a thirst quenching and extensive drinks menu, boasting a wide selection of cask ales, craft beers and ciders.
"Visitors to the Horseshoe Bar will additionally be able to enjoy the new drinks offering whilst taking in pub entertainment, such as live sport on 13 screens and karaoke eight days a week (twice on a Sunday!)."

Speaking about the refurbishment, general manager at the Horseshoe Bar, Michael Rogerson, commented: “As a key part of Glasgow’s night life, we’re really pleased to have given our pub a new lease of life. The owners add that "Following the extensive refurbishment and significant investment in the pub, seven new jobs have been created for the local area, with the team ready to pour pints and serve delicious food to guests. "
