Glasgow's first 'body-positive' wax studio has opened in the Gallowgate.
Founded by Rohese Devereux-Taylor, the Rebel Wax Club is the first waxing studio to open in Glasgow that both celebrates and specialises in body positivity.
The Rebel Wax Club, based in Hashtag Lashed on the Gallowgate, is open to all clients but specialises in intimate waxing, first timers, plus-size bodies, LGBTQ+ people and pregnant people.

Rohese says she started the studio after getting waxed for 20 years but "never finding my forever waxer". She said that she "decided I wanted to be that to people".
"As a size 18, myself I wanted to create a space where bodies of all shapes and sizes are celebrated and made to feel comfortable" said Rohese.
"People have said how great it is to feel comfortable no matter their body shape and age. Someone said I was 'a shining light in the waxing world'.
Rohese, who also is trained as a doula and hypnobirthing guide, added: "All bodies are amazing and I want everyone who has a treatment with me to feel relaxed, comfortable and walk out feeling good about themselves."
