Glasgow's Early May Bank Holiday weather forecast - hour by hour

The early May bank holiday has finally arrived for the UK - and with it, the promise of summer just around the corner.

However whilst we are technically in the warmer months, the cold weather is sadly still here.

But with another bank holiday on the way next week, can we expect an improvement in the weather in the coming days? Here is what you need to know.

Glasgow's Early May Bank Holiday weather forecast - hour by hour

Today (May 1) marks the first bank holiday of the month and will thankfully see a dry start.

However there will be lots of cloud with the coverage set to thicken as the day goes on.

As well as clouds in the afternoon, a few showers may develop from the west. with rain likely to fall between the hours of 1pm and 7pm.

This evening will see cloud return, thickening from 2pm onwards. However the BBC says that "any showers should clear. It will then remain dry and largely cloudy overnight, with just a few brief clearer breaks."

According to BBC Weather, this is the hour by hour forecast for today:

  • 11am: Light cloud and a gentle breeze, 13C
  • 12pm: Light cloud and a gentle breeze, 13C

  • 1pm: Light cloud and a gentle breeze, 14C

  • 2pm: Thick cloud and a gentle breeze, 14C

  • 3pm: Thick cloud and a gentle breeze, 13C

  • 4pm: Thick cloud and a gentle breeze, 12C

  • 5pm: Thick cloud and a gentle breeze, 11C

  • 6pm: Thick cloud and a gentle breeze, 11C

  • 7pm: Thick cloud and a gentle breeze, 10C

  • 8pm: Thick cloud and a gentle breeze, 9C

  • 9pm: Light cloud and a gentle breeze, 9C

  • 10pm: Light cloud and a gentle breeze, 8C

  • 11pm: Light cloud and a gentle breeze, 8C
