The owners of Glasgow's iconic Rotunda have announced that the city's biggest beer garden is ready to go as it opens bookings ahead of its July opening.
The Cranside Kitchen, which is currently under construction in Finnieston, will be a free-to-enter outdoor venue with a food market and beer garden built on a private patio and existing space close to the famous building.
It is set to open its doors on Monday 6 July, seven days a week, with a food market offering menus from five of Glasgow's most renowned restaurants - Rioja, Halloumi, Pickled Ginger, Kilmurry & Co and La Rotunda.
Family and dog friendly, the business partners behind the Rotunda, Kevin Campbell and Toni Carbajosa explained that it will meet strict social distancing guidelines, esuring the safety of both staff and customers.
Toilet facilities will be located inside the Rotunda building and will be managed in-line with Government guidelines.
A new website will also launch on Monday 29th June but customers can join a mailing list at www.cransidekitchen.co.uk
Restaurateur Toni Carbajosa added that there will be free parking onsite, he said: “The good news is that we can open our new outdoor beer garden.
"We’ve been anticipating this for some weeks and Cranside Kitchen will be opening outdoors and wholeheartedly welcoming customers to our new venue in Finnieston.
"There is great excitement amongst our team who have been keen to get back to work and we will do everything we can to make it a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers"
