A rooftop bar in Glasgow has been named as one of the best in the world - fighting off competition from venues in the likes of New York, London and Tokyo.
In a study conducted by Mandoemedia.com, rooftop bars were rated on a variety of factors including customer experience, price and social media shares as their analysis narrowed it down to the best 200 spots in the world to enjoy a drink with a view.
Bangkok’s AkaAza Bar came out top on the list for its pool bar and panoramic views of the Thai capital's skyline, while Spanish spots The Rooftop at Serras in Barcelona and Terraz at the Principal in Madrid completed the top three.

And also making the list is Glasgow's very own Sky Bar, sitting atop the Radisson Red hotel, which came in at 46th position between a bougie bar in Bangkok and another on the Amalfi Coast.
According to the research, the Clydeside venue recorded 183 Instagram shares and a customer experience rating of 69.44%, while a bottle of wine - determined by the lowest price for a standard-sized bottle - was £22.95.
The Sky Bar hasn't been shy of success in recent months. In June, the Radisson Red team celebrated after the hotel won the Best Brand Hotel and People's Choice title at the annual Prestige Hotel Awards, which are voted on by the public.
Meanwhile, the only other Scottish bar to make the top 100 was in Edinburgh, with the fourth floor at Harvey Nichols taking 84th place.
