Glasgow restaurant re-opening for Ed Sheeran Hampden gigs with special set menu

A Glasgow restaurant is re-opening for two nights only to celebrate Ed Sheeran coming to Hampden Park.

Frousoulla's in Battlefield closed for refurbishment during the Covid-19 pandemic.

A spokesperson from the Greek food joint revealed that it will open its doors once again but only on June 16 and 17, with a set menu.

Pop superstar Ed Sheeran takes to the stage at Scotland's national stadium on both those evenings.

Frousoulla's in Sinclair Drive is just a short walk away from Hampden.

Ahead of their official opening later in the summer, the restaurant is welcoming diners for those two days to celebrate the Thinking Out Loud singer's arrival in Glasgow.

Photos shared online show the venue's stunning new interior with chic sage green walls and sleek, monochrome furnishings.

The statement read: "Frosoulla's will be open on June 16 and 17 for the Ed Sheeran gigs at Hampden..

"This is just a pre-opening and we will have a set menu for the Gig.

"Help us celebrate our new look and reserve a table for a bite to eat and cool glass of Mythos beer or a crisp glass of our selection of Greek wines..

"Places will be limited..

"Looking forward to be back Battlefield."
