Little Curry House owner Jas Singh, 23, said: “Launching an Alan Partridge-themed menu as the man himself performs in Glasgow is apropos.
“Alan Partridge has cooked up an all-new escapade for the people of Glasgow, so we’ve cooked-up a special menu in tribute to the fantastic man. Imagine two things you enjoy, great individually but put them together and you get something quite special: strawberries and cream, egg and bacon, yawning and scratching, Johnson and Johnson, curry and Partridge.
“We hope this will curry favour with fans old and new to surprise, delight and entertain in approximately equal measure.”
Quoting the man himself, the curry guru joked and said guests are welcome to bring their own 12-inch plate, adding: “I hope everyone who comes along enjoys the food and has a good time. But it must not, I repeat not, turn into an all-night rave.
“I think everyone will all agree our curries are ten on ten. We are proud to be the finest curry house in all of West Glasgow.”
On the Alan Partridge-themed set menu, fans will find:
Starter: Dahl in a cup or Chicken Pakora-HA
Sides (to be served “hippy style”): DAAAAN bread or Paratha-tridge
Mains: Smell my Paneer, you mother or Butter My Chicken
Dessert: Caravan Jamun
Jurassic Park!
