Looking for a place to live can be difficult at the best of times.
Combined with soaring property prices and a worsening cost of living crisis, though, and now is certainly not an ideal time to be searching for a home. There is hope, however.
With many families struggling to just put food on the table with costs and bills rising ever higher, a lot will simply be unable to afford to purchase property. Not that renting in Glasgow is cheap either.

There are definitely bargains to be found for renters in the city, though. Depending on where you want to live, prices can be very reasonable.
To help you find the perfect family home, we took to Rightmove to look for the cheapest three-bedroom flats currently available in each part of Glasgow. Here is what we found.
City Centre
ACT395 Wallace Street
Price: £950
While this flat is the most expensive property on this list, there are a couple of things it offers that none of the others do. First is, of course, its prime location — within walking distance to the city centre. The second major benefit is that it comes furnished, which none of the other homes do.
What the listing says: "Zone Group Present This Three Bedroom First Floor Furnished Property Within This Modern Development on the South Side of the River, Only Minutes Walk From Glasgow city Centre. Please Note There is No HMO. The Internal Accommodation of This Property Consists of Entrance Hallway With Storage Off, Modern Kitchen Complete with Integrated Appliances, Lounge, Three Double Bedrooms with Fitted Wardrobes (Primary With En-suite) and Family Bathroom."

East End
Gartcraig Road, Riddrie
Price: £750 per month
While this property may not look like all that much from the outside, it actually has quite a lot to offer. With a clean and inoffensive grey colour scheme throughout it is something of a blank canvas — allowing you to put your own stamp on it with your furniture and belongings. It also comes with a proper bath, which is rarer than you might think at this price.
What the listing says: "Property comprises of spacious lounge, large kitchen, 3 double bedrooms and family bathroom with shower over bath. Further benefits from gas central heating, double glazing and parking. Well situated with local amenities and public transport links close by."

Southside
Brownhill Road, Mansewood
Price: £750 per month
Again, it's not much to look at from the street, but inside this flat is sleek and modern. Again, it comes with a spacious bath, and has more colour spread throughout for those wanting somewhere more unique. It's a bit further out of the city, but the transport links are excellent, so you will never be far from the action.
What the listing says: "Ross Sales & Lettings are delighted to offer to the rental market this UNFURNISHED second floor flat situated within a popular part of Mansewood, Glasgow. Highlights include reception hallway, lounge, kitchen, bathroom plus three good sized bedrooms. Further benefits include gas central heating, double glazing plus well maintained communal rear gardens."

West End
Ripon Drive
Price: £750 per month
Location is a major plus with this property. Considering properties in the west of the city tend to be a lot pricer, £750 isn't bad at all. On top of that, you get a modern kitchen with stunning floor tiles, spacious bedrooms, and on-street parking.
What the listing says: "Tay Letting are delighted to bring to the market this well presented two or three bedroom second floor flat located in the popular Kelvindale area, AVAILABLE NOW, UNFURNISHED. The property comprises of a good sized lounge that leads into a fully fitted kitchen and has a further room off which is flexible in its use and could be utilised as a dining room, study or third bedroom. There are two well proportioned double bedrooms and a modern bathroom with three piece white suite completes the accommodation."

North
Carbisdale Street, Springburn
Price: £675
The final property on this list is not only the cheapest, but depending on your taste, potentially the nicest as well. Featuring stunning wood-effect flooring, modern and stylish wallpaper, and a gorgeous kitchen, this flat would make a great home for any family.
What the listing says: "Three bedroom, top floor flat, offered to let in Springburn. Ideally situated for access to local shopping, motorway networks and transport links. Accommodation: entrance hall, lounge, kitchen with balcony, three bedrooms and bathroom."
