A police probe is underway after a man was seriously assaulted near Glasgow's Barras Market.
The attack happened on Moncur Street around 5:30pm on Sunday (January 23).
Police and emergency services raced to the scene and the victim, a 52 year-old-man, was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment, the Daily Record reports.
Officers subsequently taped off the area while they conducted their enquiries, which remain ongoing.

Detective Constable Jacqueline Harris told the paper: “Officers were called to a report of a serious assault on Moncur Street, Glasgow around 5.30pm on Sunday, January 23.
"A 52-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information can call 101, quoting reference 2621 of January 23.”
