Police probing the theft of a dog in Glasgow city centre have released a description of the suspect.
The dog, a black Labrador, was reported stolen from outside a premises on Hope Street around 7.50pm on Saturday night.
The suspect is described as being male, around 25-30 years old, around 5ft 11in in height, of slim build with short brown hair. He was wearing a grey Nike tracksuit and black trainers.
Police say the area where the theft took place was busy at the time and are asking anyone who was in the area and noticed anything suspicious to make contact with them.

Detective Constable Kimberley Douglas said: “The theft of the dog has caused considerable distress to the owners. Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone with any information which may assist us, who hasn’t already spoken to police to get in touch.
"The area was busy at the time and I would also ask anyone who was in the area and noticed anything suspicious to contact us.”
