Glasgow police investigating 'serious' city centre assault share CCTV appeal

Glasgow cops have shared two CCTV images of a man they want to speak to as part of an investigation into an alleged 'serious assault' in the city centre.

The alleged attack took place on Union Street, on Saturday January 28 at around 11.40pm.

Now, police want to speak with this man who might be able to assist them.

He is described as being approximately 6 feet tall, stocky build, short dark hair wearing dark blue jeans and a beige shirt.

Detective Constable Mark McCallum said: “We are keen to speak to this man who may have information which could assist with our enquiries. I would encourage him or anyone who may recognise him to contact us.”

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland (Police Scotland)

Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 4231 of 28 January, 2023. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be given anonymously.
