Police are investigating after a young girl was approached by two men who tried to entice her into their car in Newton Mearns.
The 14-year-old girl had been walking with friends on Harvie Avenue between 2.45pm and 3.45pm on Wednesday before she stopped at a bus stop but later walked off when the bus didn't arrive.
As she was walking along the street, a car occupied by the men drove up beside her. One of the men began to speak to the girl and tried to entice her into the vehicle before both men shouted comments at her.

Although the teenager wasn't touched in the incident, she was left 'very distressed and upset' by their actions and unwanted attention, police have said.
Detectives believe the pair could have been working on the street over the last seven to ten days and have urged anyone who lives in the area and may have seen the men to come forward.
The men were driving a red Vauxhall Meriva car. One of the men is aged between 30 and 36-years-old, of slim build with black unkempt hair, black beard and brown eyes. He was wearing a black t-shirt with white writing and black jogging trousers and his clothing was covered in paint splashes.
The second man is around 19-year-old, with a slim build, dark brown or black unkempt hair and a thick dark-coloured moustache. He was wearing a dark-coloured, possibly black, jacket.
Constable Heather Cameron said: “Unwarranted attention from men can be extremely distressing. I am appealing to anyone who lives in the Harvie Avenue area, who may have seen these men working in the area. In particular, any motorists with dash cams are asked to check their footage as they may have captured images of the men or the Vauxhall car and these images could prove vital for us.
“I would also like to add that if anyone else has been approached or shouted at by these two men, then please do contact us. Your information could prove the vital link we need to identify and arrest the men responsible.
"Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2295 of 22 June 2022. Alternatively, please contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously."
At round 2pm on Friday Greater Glasgow Police Division revealed that a 32-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident.
A statement from the force read: "A 32-year old man has been arrested and charged by officers in Glasgow. It follows an incident on Wednesday, June 22 in Harvie Avenue, Newton Mearns where efforts were made by two men to persuade a 14-year-old girl into a vehicle.
"The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, June 27 and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
