Police have confirmed they are not treating the death of a man as suspicious after a body was recovered from the Forth and Clyde Canal.
Emergency services were called to Speirs Wharf around 5.45pm on Monday following the sad discovery.
Police have now confirmed that the body of a man was recovered from the water.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.25 pm on Monday, March 27, the body of a man was recovered from the Forth and Clyde Canal, Speirs Wharf, Glasgow.
"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
