Police have confirmed that the ongoing incident they are dealing with in Springburn relates to 'concern for a woman'.
Officers were called to Broomfield Road around 2pm this afternoon (Monday) following a reports of concern for the woman.
The road is currently closed off to traffic while officers remain at the scene.
Rail services are currently suspended between Springburn and Robroyston train stations, with a rail replacement service in operation between Glasgow Queen Street and Camelon, calling at stops via Springburn.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police were called to the Broomfield Road area of Glasgow, around 2pm on Monday, 28 March, following concern for a woman.
"Officers remain at the scene and the road is currently closed.”
UPDATE: The train line between Glasgow Queen Street and Spingburn has now reopened.
