Police are appealing for information after a man was found seriously injured close to Glasgow Central Station.
The 48-year-old was found with serious injuries on Union Street around 11.30am on Thursday morning. Police believe he had been assaulted before he was discovered.
The man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital as police investigated the incident. A part of the street was closed to traffic while detectives searched the scene.
Detective Sergeant Chris Curness said: “We are appealing for any witnesses and anyone with information to get in touch with officers to assist with our enquiries.
“Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting incident number 1210 of 30 June or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
