A petrol station in Glasgow's south side has been cordoned off by police following an early morning incident.
Emergency services were called to the Shell Garage on Victoria Road around 12.55am on Friday after a disturbance broke out.
A 31-year-old man was found to have been seriously assaulted and had to be taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. His injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.

Police have cordoned off the main forecourt area of the garage while they investigate the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.55am on Friday, 5 May, 2023, police were called to the Victoria Road area of Glasgow, following the report of a disturbance and the serious assault of a 31-year-old man. The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers remain in the area.”
