A thug who abducted a 71-year-old woman in her own home while in possession of a knife avoided jail.
Leo Mills, 23, entered Margaret Kane’s flat in Cardonald uninvited on July 4, 2019.
Mills - who was 19 at the time - removed the keys from the flat then locked her inside which caused her fear and alarm. Court papers state Miss Kane was detained against her will and was assaulted by Mills.

Mills, of Kilwinning, North Ayrshire, presented a knife at her and pushing her against a wall.
Allegations came to light after Mills told his father about the attack who later assisted her.
Mills - a first offender - pled guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to assaulting Miss Kane.
Ciara Bradley, defending, told sentencing: “It was a very serious offence and he recognises that.
“This was a woman who he got on fairly well with and had a good relationship but he broke that trust.”
Sheriff Ian Fleming ordered Mills to do 240 hours of unpaid work and put him under supervision for 18 months.
Mills was also tagged for five months keeping him indoors between 8pm and 6am.
The sheriff said: “Offences such as this almost automatically attract a custodial sentence due to the gravity and age of the victim.
“I have taken a view that I don’t send you to custody.
“You have had difficulties with bullying and you had not offended prior or since these events.
“You told your father about the incident and he attended at her flat and gave her assistance.
“You were 19 at the time of the offence when it was committed. The offence is more than three years old and I need to take that into account.
“The man who committed this crime is not the same man. You made full admissions to the police and the offence was over in a relatively short time.”
