A man has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in the Thornwood area of the city.
The 37-year-old pedestrian was crossing Balshagray Avenue, near its junction with Crow Road, around 12.20am on Monday when he was struck by a grey Volkswagen Tiguan.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

The road was closed for around five hours and reopened around 5.20am on Monday morning.
Constable Simon Parker said: “Enquiries are ongoing into the cause of this crash and I would appeal to any witnesses, or anyone with information that may assist us, to make contact.
“I am also keen to obtain any dash-cam from motorists driving on the road around the time of the crash.
“Anyone with information should contact 101 quoting reference number 0093 of May 1.”
