Glasgow has been named the third best city in the UK for foodies in 2022.
Online food retailer MuscleFood looked at a number of factors - from the number of Michelin star restaurants in the area and how many Uber Eats restaurants are available - as part of a new study to crown the foodie capital of the UK.
Scotland's biggest city found itself in the top three best for food lovers in the country due to its impressive number of UberEats restaurants (667), and establishments serving dessert (64).
Our sister city Edinburgh took the top spot due to having one of the highest numbers of coffee shops in the city (219), and a significant number of UberEats options to choose from (543), while Manchester came in at second place.
All 69 UK cities were ranked on nine metrics to provide overall ranking of the 'Foodiest Cities' in the UK, including the total number of dessert, tea, coffee shop and bakeries in each city and the average cost of a weekly food and non-alcoholic drink shop.
The average weekly shop price in Glasgow was calculated to be £57.60, the same as in Edinburgh.
