A musician is devastated after a guitar he bought using money his late grandad left for him was stolen from outside his Bellahouston home.
John McGuigan was alarmed when a neighbour chapped on his door to let him know his car door was open. When he went out to investigate last weekend, he found that two of his guitars were missing.
They are both worth £800 each and one of them is called 'Charlie' which he named after his late grandad.

The 44-year-old guitarist and singer in local band Blues Mama has since had to fork out £1,000 on a new guitar so he could play a gig this weekend.
He told GlasgowLive: "We had been rehearsing the night before and just came back home, I was exhausted. For some reason, I decided to leave the guitars in the boot.
"A neighbour noticed my car door was lying open. I went out and the first thing I looked for was my guitars and noticed they weren’t in the boot.
"The value of the guitars didn’t kick in, it was more the shock and embarrassment that they had been taken. Then the anger kicks in.
"I was in shock and disgust. They had sentimental value to them as well."
Two rucksacks were also allegedly stolen which had gig equipment inside including cables, straps and iPad holders.
John added: "One was a work bag and another was a gig bag which had my entire musical life in it. I’d like them to have a look at their conscience and bring them back.
"The sentimental value is what’s so much more. They mean the world to me as it’s the last thing my grandad bought me.
"It’s what I play with every week and I love it. It’s quite heartbreaking."
Police Scotland received reports of a theft on Saturday, April 8.
A spokesperson said: “Around 3.15pm on Saturday, 8 April, we received a report of the theft of items from a car.
"Enquiries are ongoing.”
